State of GTM collects the information you submit through newsletter forms, such as email address and form source, to process subscription requests.

Analytics are used to understand page performance and conversion events. Email addresses and other personal information are not sent as analytics event properties.

The current MVP uses a provider-neutral subscription stub. A production newsletter provider should be connected before real subscriber capture begins.
